Online We GRO!

Monday, July 13, 2020, 1:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Visitors may not be able to enter the gallery at Gallery Route One, but there are plenty of ways to engage!

Art Projects at Home
Since we added our "Art Projects at Home" section to the GRO website, 4 different projects have been uploaded. These are fun and easy projects that anyone can do with simple things they find from around the house. People can enjoy the projects on their own, or the whole family can get involved.
The Tightrope walker Project makes a great gift to honor Graduates or for any occasion so gat started.
Visit Art Projects at Home on Gallery Route One's homepage:

Art Kits for All
As a gift to our community, we have gathered donations of art supplies from local artists and have put together "art kits" that were distributed in our community. The kits included activity printouts for those who have run out of ideas for their stay at home crew and don’t have access to a printer.

Email a photo of your finished artwork to so we can post it online!

Support GRO by Shopping for Art and Gifts
You can support Gallery Route One through this challenging tim by visiting our website and making a secure donation online. If you are in need of a gift for Mother's Day or some other special occasion, visit our new online store:

There you will also find artworks for sale by our members, from affordable works in the Alcove section, to the Spring 2020 Members' exhibition. The Members' Exhibition can be viewed online on the GRO website listed above, under the "Exhibits" tab, select "Spring 2020".

Artists In the Schools going Online
Gallery Route One received Emeregency Funding from the West Marin Fund, and has begun work on a series of online art workshops for the students attending all of the Shoreline schools. Stay tuned for the release of our first video!

Along with reaching the kids virtually, we will also be holding the annual AIS exhibition, which normally opens at Toby's Gallery during Western weekend, online, date to be determined.

A regional landmark since 1983, Gallery Route One is an arts organization located in the town of Point Reyes Station, adjacent to the entry for Marin County's Point Reyes National Seashore. Besides offering rotating exhibits by member artists, GRO also maintains its outreach programs: the Latino Photography Project, the Artists in the Schools Program, as well as exhibitions in the Project Space addressing environmental, immigration and social justice issues.
