In this class categories and specific plants will be discussed to work on different types of pain. These included skeletal and smooth muscle pain, inflammation and generalized pain syndromes. Bio 7Song is an herbalist, teacher and naturalist residing in Ithaca, NY. He is the director and main instructor at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine and is also a founding member and practitioner at the Ithaca Free Clinic. As an herbalist his focus includes gathering and preparing herbal medicines, clinical practice, first aid, teaching and botany. He also spends a lot of taking photographs of things that run, crawl, fly or photosynthesize. His teaching goals include showing how herbal medicine offers useful primary and adjunct treatments and to how to make herbal medicine accessible and available to the larger community.
