CoderDojo Programming Club for 5th-12th graders

Monday, April 22, 2019, 11:00 PM

Youth in 5th-12th grade engage in self-directed projects that interest them, although we may be able to accept younger learners as long as a parent is present the entire time. You decide what coding you want to work on including website design, app creation, language-based programming, and game building.  We provide a space to work, desktop computers, and (if you bring your Peninsula Library System library card) laptops. We also have access to other hardware including Raspberry Pi and micro:bit systems. You are welcome to bring your own laptop or other devices to program on. You do not have to have a library card, or be a resident of San Mateo County, to attend. Prior sign up at tiny.cc/coderdojo highly recommended to ensure your participation. Tickets reserved through Eventbrite will not guarantee a space in our computer lab. Welcome to the Millbrae Library CoderDojo! This program is available to you for free thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Millbrae Library. Please consider joining or donating to this wonderful all-volunteer nonprofit so we can keep offering quality programs like this for years to come.
