Circles for the Earth (Video Conference)
The Circles for the Earth practices were originally established during the 5-year devastating drought from 2011 to 2016 in California. Interestingly, whenever we held circles during those years, there would be a bit some degree of precipitation within a few days of the circle. This might have been coincidence, but the more we worked with these practices, the less we thought about coincidence.
We naturally understood that the drought was part of the larger issue of climate change affecting the entire globe. When the rains came to California in the winter of 2016, we shifted our focus to bringing these same practices to other areas of the earth that were experiencing the consequences of climate change, pollution, or other negative effects of human activity.
Circles for the Earth continues today and with the help of the Internet, it has grown into an international circle of dedicated people helping to heal the earth. Each month we come together to focus healing on natural places that have been polluted, contaminated or are experiencing the effects of climate change. We work remotely to accommodate our members and welcome anyone that is interested in participating.
Circles for the Earth
It’s free to join Circles for the Earth and participate in our monthly online healing circles. Participation is non-denominational and not prescribed. You can participate in whatever way you have been taught or feel drawn to engage. For instance, you may be trained in Reiki or shamanic practices or you may simply pray, meditate, or send light. Circles happen on the first Sunday of the month live via video conference. Every month we work on healing a specific part of the planet that has been under siege or damaged in some way. When you join, you will receive monthly updates on the work and an invitation to join our private Facebook group where you can connect with other members and stay up to date. To join, simple register for one of the upcoming circles listed below.
Advanced Circles for the Earth
Each quarter, graduates of the Sacred Stream’s Advanced Applied Shamanism training and the adjunct advanced course, Working with the Weather Spirits and the Elements, gather together to ground the work of the Circles for the Earth community. Using advanced techniques, they do intensive work to help focus healing to areas of the planet in need of assistance. This group gathers in-person in Berkeley and non-local participants can join via video conference. For more information or to join, contact us at email@example.com.
